Periodontal Procedures

Problem:

Inadequate width of sturdy ("keratinized") gum tissue.

Excessive frenum/muscle pull.

Shallow depth vestibule (cheek pouch).

Risk of recession during orthodontic treatment.

Risk of recession with restorative procedures.

 

Treatment:

Drs. Gordon performs surgical repositioning or replacement of soft tissue to establish a protective width of sturdy (keratinized) tissue.
